It’s been a lucrative year for Benefex clients, who have dominated industry awards across the UK in 2018. Now, they’ve conquered the USA, too.

BT, Skyscanner, Holiday Extras and Benefex were shortlisted for four Stevie® Awards for Great Employers, taking home two gold and two bronze trophies between them. After a successful first year with Benefex, BT were honoured with the gold Stevie Award for Achievement in HR Technology, while Skyscanner – who had won the Grand Prix at this year’s EB Awards – took home the gold for Achievement in Benefits Design and Administration. Holiday Extras were shortlisted for Achievement in Employee Engagement, and Benefex for HR Technology Solution Provider – each taking home a bronze medal in acknowledgement.

Matt Macri-Waller, Founder and CEO of Benefex, was delighted with the accolades:
“Following on from this year’s success in the UK, we’re thrilled that our efforts and achievements – and that of our clients – are being recognised internationally.

“Our consistency in delivering great benefits schemes is well-known, but to win awards in HR technology really brings to the surface our achievement in product development, and highlights the advances we’re making into communications and recognition technology, too.”

The glamorous ceremony took place on 21st September at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in Manhattan, attended by finalists from across the USA and Canada, Central and South America, Europe, and Asia. Finalists included the likes of Cisco, Accenture, AstraZeneca, Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom Services and O.C. Tanner.

Established in 2002 as The American Business Awards, the Stevie Awards recognise business achievement and contribution worldwide. Now in their third year, the awards specifically for Great Employers honour HR teams, professionals, achievements, new products, and suppliers which help to create and drive great places to work.

Congratulations to the teams at BT, Skyscanner Holiday Extras and Benefex; it’s time to add to the trophy cabinet!
