We are thrilled to announce that Benefex has been accepted into the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) G-Cloud 9 framework. After two and-a-half years as part of the G-Cloud network, we have continued our commitment to aiding public sector bodies in their mission to give their employees a great experience at work.
The G-Cloud initiative is targeted at easing procurement by public sector bodies, as they can avoid running a tender – thereby saving valuable funds and time – as they can find suppliers who have already passed the G-Cloud set criteria. In using this service, CCS is able to deliver savings to front-line services and the taxpayer by aggregating spend to drive best value.
In order to be accepted into the framework, G-Cloud suppliers must pass a number of criteria, so, public sector bodies entering into a commercial relationship know that these criteria are already met. The aim of CCS is to work with departments and organisations across the whole of the public sector to ensure maximum value is extracted from every commercial relationship and improve the quality of service delivery. CCS manages contracts and supplier performance to ensure that the Government acts as a single customer; freeing up individual organisations to focus their procurement expertise on what is unique to them.

When we first got accepted onto the framework a few years ago, around £87 million a year was being spent through it. In 2016, that figure rose to a huge £715 million. As organisations get more familiar and comfortable with G-Cloud as a concept, they are seeing almost all Government or Public Sector digital spending being procured through it.”
