Benefex continues to deliver for the public sector
OneHub accepted into Crown Commercial Service’s G-Cloud 10
Benefex is pleased to announce that we have been accepted into the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) G-Cloud 10 framework. We’re thrilled to extend our commitment to our hard-working public sector after three and-a-half years in the network!
What is the G-Cloud framework?
Government frameworks are agreements between the government and suppliers. The G-Cloud initiative is targeted at easing procurement by public sector bodies, and removes the need for a tender process when finding new suppliers. The service began in 2012, and has rapidly grown in popularity as it has matured. Public sector bodies can search for service providers who have already passed set criteria in the Digital Marketplace. CCS manages contracts and supplier performance to ensure that the Government acts as a single customer; enabling individual organisations to save time and resource in procurement.
Employee experience in the public sector
In saving this time and resource, public sector organisations can focus their attention on delivering exceptional experiences for their employees. Benefex’s OneHub platform offers public sector employers the chance to manage their online benefits, quickly and easily access real-time analytics, create inspiring and tailored communications to maximise the impact of their EVP, and streamline their HR team’s administrative burden. This improved experience with workplace technology and benefits helps organisations to boost their appeal to a wider employee base, and raise employees’ engagement levels, improving productivity and motivation. Councils recruit 75,000 new employees every year, at a cost of £4,333-£7,750 to fill each vacancy. Implementing an exciting and innovative employee benefits system can help organisations reduce attrition, saving time and money which can be used to focus on delivering exceptional services.
Gethin Nadin, Director, Global Partnerships, said:
“It has never been easier for employees to find a job, therefore, it has never been harder for employers to recruit and keep hold of the top talent in their sectors, and the public sector has the hardest task of all.
“We’ve been part of the G-Cloud framework for several years now, and we’ve seen it grow to the point that almost all Government or public sector cloud procurement is being sourced through it. It’s wonderful to see so many public sector bodies working hard to ensure their employees are given an exceptional experience while at work. And with the firmer restrictions on public sector pay, combined with the need for secure, robust services, the G-Cloud framework is really working to alleviate the time and budget pressure on these organisations.
“There are businesses in the public sector currently working alongside Benefex and using the OneHub platform to improve their employee journey; none of which would have been possible without the G-Cloud initiative. In making savings through salary sacrifice, and reducing administration through OneHub’s all-encompassing HR tool, having an online employee benefits, communications, and recognition platform in partnership with Benefex is a cost-effective and valuable investment in the employee experience for public sector bodies.”
At Benefex, we’re excited to extend our innovative technology into the public sector, and we look forward to welcoming even more new clients through the G-Cloud framework, to ensure that every employee gets a great experience at work, every day.
