Lucy John

Senior Graphic Designer

Lucy has been part of the design team at Benefex for over seven years, having joined in March 2011 as a Junior Graphic Designer. Before this, Lucy had a few short-term design internships after graduating with a BA in Graphic Design from Solent University. Lucy's passions include typography and layout, and she can get very excited over a beautiful typeface!

Alexandra Houlden

Head of Communications

Alexandra graduated from the University of Southampton in History, and has worked in internal communications for around six years. She's mostly focused on HR, Pension and Benefits communications during that time, giving her real expertise when it comes to guiding our clients toward the right solutions.
Outside of work, Alexandra can be found renovating her home, reading and enjoying a glass of red wine.

Zach Ward

Senior Copywriter

Zach studied journalism at the University of Portsmouth, graduating in 2012, and got his first writing job as a junior reporter at the Diss Express in Norfolk in 2013. He qualified as a senior reporter and spent four years there, before moving to Salisbury and starting a job with Benefex as a copywriter in January 2018. At the end of 2018, Zach was asked to move into a Senior Copywriter role, where he heads up the Communications copywriters.
